Located less than 50 miles from New York City, with more than 17,000 residents, North Babylon is conveniently located along major highways and the Long Island Rail Road. From the construction of the first school in 1810, to the current seven schools housing over 4,500 students annually, the North Babylon School District is the academic and social center of a thriving North Babylon community.
