School News and Updates
This week was a short week due to the Jewish New Year! L'Shana Tova to all those who celebrate. Our students have been hard at work and we are in the midst of celebrating National Hispanic Heritiage Month! The month of October is also Fire Prevention Month... the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company will be visiting our students soon!

Phone Policy (includes Smart Devices i.e. tablets, watches)
  • Powered Down/Silenced - kept in backpack
  • Emergency use only - not to be used at school, this includes the bus

Dismissal Change Policy (if different from submitted form)
  • Before 2:45pm... send email - we will confirm with reply email. Be sure to include who is picking up. Person must park in parking lot, and have photo ID.
  • After 2:45pm... send email - as above (must have request in writing) & call main office - email: delucaoffice@northbabylonschools.net ; phone: 631.620.7705

DeLuca Artist of the Week
Congratulations to DeLuca’s latest “Artist of the Week”... Delainey Gundy!
This past week, Ms. O’Brien selected Delainey as the student who demonstrated the greatest effort and was a role model to her fellow classmates. On Monday morning Delainey heard her name announced and received her certificate!

Library Learner Superstar Classes
Each time students attend library classes they are able to earn points towards being a good library citizen. Students earn points by demonstraiting teamwork, hard work, being kind to one another, following direction, and showing respect.

Every month the top 3 classes will be recognized for their outstanding efforts by Mrs. Bzdyk and have their team pictures taken to be displayed outside the library for the following month. Congratulations to the teams listed above... keep up the good work!
