Veterans Day Parade
Dear Parents/Guardians:
We would like to invite you to join us for our 9th annual Veteran’s Day Celebration!
Friday, November 8, 2024 starting at 1:45 p.m. we will honor and show our appreciation to the many men and women who have served in our Armed Forces.
The parade will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Regrettably no rain date will be scheduled, but we will move the parade indoors if necessary.
If your child has a relative or friend who has served, or is currently serving our country, in any branch of the military (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard), and can attend the Celebration, please complete the online form by Friday, October 25, 2024.
All Veterans (in uniform if possible) are invited to march with their student(s) in our “Parade of Heroes”.
Whether in attendance or not, all Veteran relatives and/or friends will be honored through our “Gallery of Heroes” slideshow.
If you would like for the veteran(s) to be displayed in our Gallery of Heroes slideshow, please send a photograph to Mrs. Bzdyk’s email, lbzdyk@northbabylonschools.net, or via the online form by no later than Friday, October 25th.
(Images sent after this date can not be included into the slideshow.)
Please make sure to include the Veteran's name, military branch, student’s name, and relation to the student.

This is a reminder regarding our Veterans Day Parade.
For anyone that did not meet the October 25th deadline to submit an online form to honor a relative or friend that has served... Mrs. Bzdyk is accepting final submissions. The form will be available all day today and tomorrow. Please use the link provided in our original letter. Thursday, October 30th will be the last day to submit a Veterans Day Parade form.
