Welcome to this week's edition of the DeLuca Digest! We are excited to share the latest edition via Parent Square Studio! We hope this helps keep you stay connected and even more a part of the DeLuca Family!

School News and Updates

This week is a short week due to the Columbus Day holiday. Students successfully practiced our evacuation drill to RMMS, and the North Babylon Fire Department will be providing Fire Safety/Prevention experiences starting this week. Our Fall season is filled with activities and events. Please be sure to pay careful attention to Parent Square notifications, and the DeLuca Digest, to stay informed.

Just a quick reminder that our Before School Clubs, Elementary Learning Center, and Math Marvels all begin this week. All activities begin by 8:05 am - please make sure to arrive on time, and if using bus transportation, plan to be at designated stops at least 10 minutes early to make sure you don't miss the bus. Enjoy the latest issue!

Phone Policy (includes Smart Devices i.e. tablets, watches)

Powered Down/Silenced - kept in backpack
Emergency use only - not to be used at school, this includes the bus

Dismissal Change Policy (if different from submitted form)

Before 2:45pm... send email - we will confirm with reply email. Be sure to include who is picking up. Person must park in parking lot, and have photo ID.

DeLuca Artist(s) of the Week

Congratulations to DeLuca’s “Artist of the Week”... Nicolas Younger!

Nicolas was selected by Ms. O'Brien for his great effort and acting as a role model to his fellow classmates. Nicolas' name was announced and he received his certificate!

Way to go Nicolas!

PE Bulldogs of the Month

William E. DeLuca, Jr's Physical Education Department will be selecting students each month to receive the Bulldog of the Month award. Students are recognized for their enthusiasm, and their ability to work cooperatively and safely with peers. The goal of physical education is to develop physically lierate individuals with knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthy physical activity.
