March into Reading Month Challenge

For “March into Reading” month, during the week of March 10 - March 14, we are designating a special “Bulldog Book Nook” reading area by the front office to challenge students and staff in keeping the reading chair occupied with a reader at all times during the school day for the entire week! (We may also have a few guest readers!) Each participant will sign up for a 15 minute time slot and silently read a book of their choice during their scheduled time. Each reader will be relieved by the next scheduled reader so that the chair will never be empty.  Sign-up sheets for both students and staff will be in the front office.  A basket of books will also be available  in the reading nook for those who do not have a book. Let’s encourage reading and the love for books! Can we keep the chair occupied for the entire week?
