Students "Make Their Mark" on International Dot Day
In celebration of International Dot Day, students in Mrs. Bzdyk’s library classes learned how the celebration began n 2009. Students learned that International Dot Day is a worldwide celebration of courage, bravery, creativity and kindness based on the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. Students listened to a reading of the book, watched an interview with the author as well as created their own individual dot that was displayed around the library Each student also received a certificate to recognize their part of being among the 20 million people making their mark worldwide.
