Lions Club - Vision Screening

Dear DeLuca Families:

We are pleased to inform you that the Lions Club will be visiting our school again this year to provide free vision screenings for students. This event is a wonderful opportunity to help ensure the health and well-being of our children.

The screenings will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025.

All students in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades will automatically be screened. In addition, students in other grades may also be screened upon request or if a need is observed by school staff.

Please note the following important details:

The vision screening is non-invasive, quick, and completely free of charge.
If a potential vision concern is identified, parents will be notified with follow-up recommendations.
The Lions Club also offers assistance for families who may have difficulty affording glasses or do not have vision insurance coverage.

If you would like to request a screening for a student not in the designated grades, please contact the school nurse by October 31, 2025.
