2025 Halloween & Halloween Parade - Update

Dear DeLuca Families:

Happy Halloween-Eve!

Unfortunately, the weather does not look like it will cooperate with our plans for an outdoor Halloween parade.

Despite the cold and wind, our Halloween parade will go on as scheduled... we will just be moving the parade indoors.

Guests should go to our main entrance no earlier than 9:20am. Guests will be asked to go to the gym and stand in the designated area.

Students will march around the gym in grade level order.

Depending on how our students are doing we hope to complete two laps.

As students process around the gym, please be respectful and ensure that families with students that are marching get the opportunity to be closest to the parade route at that time.

Again, reminders regarding costumes:

  • Students are not permitted to wear gore-themed masks, or come to school with full face paint.
  • No toy guns, swords, or other weapons that encourage violence - they are not permitted.
  • Students should be able to get out of, and back into their costume easily AND by themselves for the purpose of using the bathroom.
  • Any costume or clothing that is deemed inappropriate will NOT be permitted. Students will be asked to remove items and/or costumes.
  • For the safety of our students and staff, any food items being brought into the school that are to be shared MUST be individually wrapped with a list of ingredients. Boxes of donuts or munchkins are not appropriate.

If for some reason your child will not be participating, please make sure to notify your child’s teacher.
