First Graders Explore the Solar System

Mrs. Berardino and Mrs. Scalza’s first-grade classes recently embarked on an in-depth exploration of the Solar System. Each student selected a planet to research, gathering interesting facts and writing detailed reports about their discoveries. They created informative and creative planet projects to share their knowledge with classmates. The students are eagerly anticipating their upcoming March visit to the Vanderbilt Planetarium, where they will participate in an engaging and immersive educational experience focused on our fascinating solar system.
