From Caterpillar to Butterfly

This spring, 5th grade buddies from Mrs. Bates and Ms. Schoberl’s classes partnered with Mrs. Rebholz’s kindergarten class for a fun and engaging science lesson on the butterfly life cycle. The older students guided their younger partners through each stage—from caterpillar to butterfly—with patience and enthusiasm.
To wrap up the lesson, each pair worked together to create a colorful butterfly craft. It was a wonderful experience that blended learning and creativity while fostering meaningful moments of teamwork and connection between the students.
